To the attention of MUN (Model United Nations), MEP (Model European Parliament), EYP (European Youth Parliament) groups and/or English Departments

Dear Sir/Madam,

Since its establishment in 1931, TED Ankara College Foundation Schools have pioneered high-quality education as being the first private Turkish school using English as the medium of instruction. Our unique philosophy is to conciliate education and diverse socio-cultural activities with continuous improvement. With this in mind, TED Ankara College has a growing network of more than 6000 students and 26.000 alumni.

Our school has been an active and outstanding participant to several international conferences in various fields. As the Politics and Diplomacy Club, we have been attending MUN (Model United Nations), MEP (Model European Parliament) and EYP (European Youth Parliament) conferences both at national and international level for many years. After years of experience and observation, we hosted "Global Youth Summit" in 2008 and 2009 in Ankara (the capital of Turkey) with high attendance rates from participants and great success.

You are cordially invited to participate in the third Global Youth Summit (GYS 2010) in April 25-30, 2010.

The aim of this summit is to unite all the things that we have found effective and productive in the conferences we have participated and form a platform for students from different countries to get to know each other and enhance their consensus-building skills.

In an era when the lack of tolerance and dialogue has increased significantly, we hope that the Global Youth Summit will serve as a platform for a great number of young delegates from diverse backgrounds to share their ideas and work in a team-spirit. Within 6 days of conference programme, students will have the chance to exchange and broaden their views upon different political approaches, while getting to know other cultures.
